Esther Montes
Chief Administration and Information Systems Officer

Esther Ana Montes Vera holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Complutense University of Madrid, a PD in Refinancing and Restructuring from the IEB and completed an expert course in Insolvency Proceedings from INESEM.
She has spent her career at ICO (Official Credit Institute) where she has held various roles and responsibilities in several positions: Head of the Retail Monitoring and Recovery Division, Head of the Wholesale Monitoring and Recovery Division and Head of the Monitoring and Recoveries Department and Head of Operations Administration and Monitoring.
As General Manager of Administration and Information Systems, she is responsible for the planning and management of policies in the fields of digitalisation, technology and information systems, also encompassing in her scope of action support for both AXIS and the ICO Foundation, particularly in relation to Information Systems. She is also responsible for the administration of the Institution's asset operations, financial and asset management, as well as for controlling and monitoring the risk of the Institute's direct operations. In addition, she will promote, coordinate and supervise the activity of the units under her responsibility.
